Talk Nerdy To Me...

Here's an instance of a couple of, good, young guys doing a good deed, and losing their lives because of it. I knew Mark Sperling, and I was shocked to hear the news of his death. Unfortunately, I didn't find out in time to attend the services, but I did want to pay my respects somehow. Not just to Mark, but to his brother Bruce as well.

I'm totally hooked on My Fair Brady. I usually never watch TV, but I catch that show whenever I can.

I sometimes feel myself feeling bad for either Chris or Adrian, but then I remember that they're both equally crazy. They're planning their wedding now, there seems to be a lot of that going on.

I have a few unhealthy additions, and watching people's messed up relationships is one of them. Only on TV though, of course.

Oh, and my brother got another tattoo.I guess I should say he tattooed himself again. He says he's all ready for me if I decide I want one. But, eh.

I've always said I wanted to get one, but I never have. I'm really thinking about it now though. Nothing huge, and nowhere trashy. My cousin has a tiny star on her foot, I think that's kind of cool. Or maybe something small on my hip bone?

I don't know... any comments?

In light of current events,
I'd just like to say:
I feel very strongly about the use of internet in corporate decisions,
and I refuse to let my stupid ass blog or myspace page
influence my life outside of venting and entertainment.

I got my grades from my last semester at my current college today. I'm pretty happy with those. I'm also looking forward to the transfer, and of course, the graduation.

Thank you to a few close friends, and other close people who have made me realized all the possiblities once you get out of your downward spiral.

I'm excited to see what's to come...

Keyshia Cole... finally someone who actually "made it" and sounds like me-- horrible. If you're not familiar, she sings "Love." I like the song, but her voice is beyond bad... kind of like mine!

I've sang on stage a few times, with a band. But, the trick to that is; just play way louder than you sing. That works well. Or, sing in Spanish. Hell, I'm great at that. A little Sublime? Yeah.

I did karaoke once too. Yeah, once. I sang that horrible "Picture" song with my friend Bill. We were way drunk, but once was enough.

Maybe there's hope for me yet!

I was going through old pictures today and found some cool ones. My 5 year old sister looks exactly like me. I was showing her pictures of me, from the 1980's, and she was asking where that was taken because she didn't remember being there. I tell her its me, and she doesn't believe me.

My mom came to my office today for a meeting, and we were dressed exactly alike. Not just like we were both wearing black and white or something like that. We both have black pants on, a lime green shirt, and a silver necklace. We don't live in the same house, yet we dress alike, talk alike, and sound alike.

Ok, it's getting nicer outside, and I have a huge desire to stuff.

I've never been to Starved Rock, but I've been hearing about a lot of people who have been going. I know that was the cool place to go after prom. Where did I go after prom? Well, that's a whole other post... what a horrible night that was.

Great America is open now. I went last year and had a lot of fun. I also want to go downtown to the museums and Art Institute too. I have tickets to go see Wicked at the end of July, which should be cool.

"I want, I want, I want..." I know.

I've been hearing all
day how I missed an
awesome game on Friday.

I actually got Cubs tickets the day they went on sale, which some of you may know it pretty tough. I ended up having to sell my tickets to a friend of mine. Not only was the weather perfect, Babe Ruth's daughter and grandson threw out the first pitch, they did a Babe Ruth tribute, they won, and Maddux had his fifth straight win.

Where was I you ask? At work. Good trade off, right? Well, I did have a great Friday night, and rest of the weekend with Luke -- I can't complain too much.
